[Track & Field] Women's track sets several school records, brings home Berea Invite titleDiana Cares Receives Hall Of Fame CallPublished by
Georgetown College men's and women's track team were fast out of the blocks this season. The Tiger teams opened at the Berea Invitational with Top 3 finishes. The women brought home the top prize, scoring 229.50 points. The next closest was host Berea with 138.50. Lindsey Wilson was third with 115. St. Catharine was the only other Mid-South Conference team at the meet and finished fourth with 69 points. The men finished third (145) behind Berea (260) and LWC (156). SCC came in fifth with 33.50 points. Former Westfield State cross country/track standout Diana Cares (Class of 2000) is being inducted into the Westfield State University Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 18.
